Pea salsa with mint

Servings: 6 Total Time: 10 mins Difficulty: Beginner
A particularly delicious side dish that can also nicely replace regular potatoes. The mild jalapeño doesn't add spiciness to the salsa, but unexpectedly adds a fresh aftertaste along with the mint. Addictive and healthy combination!
Hernesalsa mündiga

Soft peas, fresh mint, and mild jalapeño together create a wonderful flavour combination that is not sharp, but rather lightly spicy and refreshing. Lime zest adds a zing, while mint adds a lovely aroma that lingers on the tongue for some time. And best of all – it’s healthy and addictive!
This salsa is suitable everywhere – as a side dish for grilled meat and potatoes, but at the same time, it is also a good alternative to potatoes or rice if you want to reduce the amount of carbohydrates on your plate and replace some with beneficial legumes. And as I love it with my recipes – preparation is easy, quick, and almost effortless. When preparing for children, you can reduce the amount of jalapeño or omit it altogether.
