Soft, spiced, and just indulgent enough – this tiramisu is everything a holiday dessert should be. A quick, chic dessert for the season – with just the right amount of spice.
Jõulutiramisu

When time is short but the table calls for something beautiful, this Christmas tiramisu is a foolproof favourite. Creamy mascarpone, a velvety splash of Bailey’s, and a whisper of Christmas spices create an elegant finish to any festive meal. It’s effortless to prepare, but delivers the kind of joy you’d expect from something far more complicated.
For me, tiramisu is the unsung hero of the desserts – luxurious but low-effort, refined but undeniably comforting. Add a little festive touch, like freshly ground cardamom and orange zest, and suddenly you have something a little more flirtatious. I usually reach for Bailey’s to bring the creaminess up a notch, but Vana Tallinn or your own favourite liqueur will work beautifully too. But I really recommend you give the Bailey’s version a try. 😉
Serve it in glasses for a refined dinner party vibe, or layer it into a larger dish for family-style ease. Either way, it always gets the kind of compliments that make you smile.

Christmas Tiramisu

Difficulty: Beginner Prep Time 60 mins Total Time 1 hr
Servings: 2

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Whisk the mascarpone and sweetener in a bowl until smooth. Add the ground cloves, cardamom, and orange zest. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold them into the mascarpone mixture using a spatula. Let the cream chill in the fridge for a moment while you prep the rest.
  2. Brew the espresso and stir in the Bailey’s. Cut the Savoiardi biscuits in half and briefly dip them into the coffee-liqueur mix – just enough to soak, not sog.
  3. To assemble, start layering the tiramisu in glasses: a base of coffee-dipped biscuits, followed by mascarpone cream. Repeat until the glass is full.
  4. Finish with a dusting of cardamom, a touch of orange zest, and a sprig of rosemary for an elegant holiday finish.

Note

  • Want to serve it in a larger dish? Go for it – skip cutting the biscuits and layer them whole. Just dip, layer, and enjoy.
