Poké has completely stolen my heart. And not so much the café poké bowls (though those are tasty too!)—but the homemade ones. Mainly because they’re insanely good and at home you can put in exactly the toppings you love. And secondly, I adore them because you can use up all those leftover bits in the fridge—and make them taste amazing at the same time. Fantastic!
Reducing food waste has been an important subject for me for a while now. Poké is one of the most delicious ways to do it. There’s always some rice left in a jar, and all those little veggie scraps from the fridge can be chopped up and turned into a poké bowl. Glamour in its coziest, tastiest form! 😀
So, put the rice on to cook and see what you’ve got in the fridge. Next time, try the chicken nugget poké with homemade nuggets—they’re so satisfyingly crispy, it might just become an addiction. You can find the nugget recipe in this post. Enjoy!
