It’s been almost a full year of distance life, and a bit of laughter and fun does everyone good. I truly miss the days when we could invite all our friends over and throw a big party — you know, when 40–50 people fit in one room, and you could hug and kiss each one. The table was full, and everyone’s stomachs hurt from laughing. Nothing beats that!
Our little ones miss those big birthday parties just as much as we do — for them, it’s even more special. While we might not be ready for big gatherings yet, you can still bring some fun to your family weekends. You don’t always need a special reason to make dinner a bit more festive! On a random Saturday morning, just announce, “Let’s have a disco tonight!” or a home cinema evening with burger frogs — I promise, the kids’ squeals of joy will be worth it.
If you’re feeling extra energetic, bake your own burger buns — but store-bought ones work just fine too. Family dinners like this are perfect for keeping the 80/20 balance: if you eat healthy 80% of the time, then 20% of the time, just relax and enjoy a classic cheesy white bun — and devour it happily!
