These bars came together for a very simple reason – I let my 9-year-old son choose everything he thinks belongs in a good snack. And honestly, the result turned out surprisingly great.

There’s a bit of crunch, a bit of sweetness and just the right amount of berry freshness. Oats and seeds make them nicely filling, raisins and agave syrup add natural sweetness, and the freeze-dried berries bring a fun little twist.

These are exactly the kind of bars you want to have on hand. Easy to grab for a lunchbox, before training or whenever you need something quick and satisfying. Just mix everything together, bake and they’re ready – one of those recipes that works every time.

  1. Add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Divide the mixture between two baking paper-lined loaf tins (approx. 11 x 30 cm). Press it down evenly and bake at 180°C for 17–20 minutes.
  2. Let cool for 20–30 minutes, then cut into bars about 3 cm wide. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
