Food has always held a special place in my heart — and in my kitchen, flavour and beauty go hand in hand. As my great-grandmother from Saaremaa used to say, “When you bring together good things, nothing bad can happen.” It’s one of the simplest pieces of culinary wisdom I cherish. After all, when the produce is good, great food practically preps itself.
My journey with food began in 2016, when I launched my first blog. Since then, much has changed — the domain, the layout, the knowledge. But one thing has stayed the same: my love for delicious, nourishing food and my desire to share it with others.

I’m the author of the cookbook Lihtsus kokakunstis (Simplicity in Cooking) and a recipe editor for Oma Maitse magazine. I also host the popular Oma Maitse podcast Toidujutud, where I chat with some of Estonia’s top chefs to uncover their best kitchen wisdom. Children may recognise me from the TV series Magus Molekul, where, together with Aigar Vaigu, we showed how healthy food can be playful and delicious.
Over the years, I’ve developed more than 700 recipes and collaborated with a wide range of media outlets and trusted brands — from Blendtec and KitchenAid to Jura, Philips, and others. I’ve continued my learning through cooking courses in Estonia, Dubai, Greece, and France, always exploring new ways to bring nutrient-rich ingredients and culinary pleasure together on the plate.
These days, I’m often the one teaching — whether through hands-on food workshops for children, cooking classes for adults, or curated team experiences for companies. One project especially close to my heart is Schoolfood for Change, where I visit schools with nutritionist Kendra Vaino to guide kids through healthy food choices and joyful cooking.

As a mother of two, I know that healthy food needs to be not only nourishing, but truly delicious — the kind of food that gets kids excited to eat. Most of my recipes follow that principle: low in sugar, balanced in nutrients, made with simple, quality ingredients, and designed to support steady energy throughout the day. That said… as a mom of two, I also know that feeding kids well is often easier said than done.

For me, food is one of life’s greatest pleasures. And even though I love and practice balanced nutritional principles, I don’t believe in compromising on flavour. I often say that healthy food should taste so good, no one even realises it’s healthy. Because at the end of the day, food isn’t just fuel — it’s experiences, memories, and most of all, it’s love. It’s something you share, something you make with care, and something that brings people together.

Welcome to my kitchen — I’m so glad you’re here. ✨
